Growing up in Dubai, manicures were cheap and easy to get. However, after moving to London, I realised how expensive it is to actually get your nails done all the time and have them looking presentable. First world lady pains!
I came across MILK Beauty which specialises in mobile beauty to your doorstep. They have a complete range of services which encompasses nails, waxing, facials/massages and and even spray tanning.
As it's close to Christmas, I thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to treat myself and get a Shellac manicure so that it lasts the entire time. I absolutely hate it when nails look chipped and messy. If that's the case, I'd rather not have any nail polish on!
Hollie came over just a few minutes before my scheduled appointment to set up and was so incredibly friendly. The conversation just flowed which is great considering you are in fact inviting a stranger round to your house. However I was completely at ease and would definitely recommend the service. At £35 it's not exactly cheaper than anywhere else - but it does take the stress away of having to travel somewhere.
I decided to go for a red polish as it's very festive and I've even included a couple of pictures. The colour that I went for was "Wildfire".
