20 Random Facts About Me

1. My absolute favourite genre of music is hip hop. I've been listening to it for years! I find some of the lyrics absolutely hilarious and listen to hip hop pretty much all day every day.

2. ...I also have turned into a Belieber and have a major obsession with him at the moment.

3. If I were on death row and I could have the choice of one last meal it would be spaghetti bolognese. I just find that there's so little that could go wrong so it should always be somewhat satisfying!

4. I hardly drink alcohol. I really don't like the taste of it! There's only a handful of occasions a year where I will drink.

5. I am obsessed with anything coconut scented. I love the smell and it's one of my favourite fruits. Creams, shower gels, you name it - I always try the buy the coconut scented one.

My Christmas Make Up Look

I'm a firm believer that you cannot have heavy eyes and a vibrant lip as part of your make up look. It should be either or.

In preparation for this Christmas, I got my hands on the 'Ruby Woo' lipstick from MAC which is that perfect shade of red. I find that MAC lipsticks tend to be really good as they stay put for a pretty long time. I should mention that if you are going to eat, this red will fade though!

So I'm Definitely Catching Onto This Quite Late...

But I am currently OBSESSED with Snapchat. I always used to think it was for people to send x-rated images to one another as the pictures are temporary and self destruct after literally a few seconds. But I have to say, I'm gripped. One of my best friends is really into it, as are all her sisters and they totally convinced me to get it as well. I really like the fact that that you can see what's going on in your area as well as around the world. Living in London, it's hard to know what's happening in the city all the time because it's so big. Snapchat almost helps keep you up to date.

I also find it a lot of fun. The amount of random stuff that I post on there of my husband and I is ridiculous!

My Everyday Winter Look

So I decided to create a snapshot of what my typical 'winter look' would be like. I prefer to be super cosy rather than look chic and then freeze! So although the look may not be sexy, it is very comfortable and is sure to keep you warm.

I have linked all the items to pages where you can purchase anything you see.

MILK Beauty

Growing up in Dubai, manicures were cheap and easy to get. However, after moving to London, I realised how expensive it is to actually get your nails done all the time and have them looking presentable. First world lady pains!

I came across MILK Beauty which specialises in mobile beauty to your doorstep. They have a complete range of services which encompasses nails, waxing, facials/massages and and even spray tanning.

As it's close to Christmas, I thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to treat myself and get a Shellac manicure so that it lasts the entire time. I absolutely hate it when nails look chipped and messy. If that's the case, I'd rather not have any nail polish on!

Picking the Right Festive Footwear

Christmas is just around the corner, and if you're anything like me then you'll know that shoes make an outfit. I always feel more dressed up in heels, so this blog post will lean more in that direction. I've been looking online to get shoes that that aren't expensive (as I don't have any income at the moment) and comfortable. Here is a short list of some shoes that have really caught my eye - even if they don't necessarily fit in my budget!
